The MSI 15.6-inch Stealth 15 laptop wins our recommendation. This display features a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. The laptop also comes with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a 15.6-inch display. Plus, its 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD keeps it running fast, allowing for fast boost and load times. Together, this combo allows the MSI 15.6-inch Stealth 15 to do creative editing without breaking a sweat.

Those DOGs used as fixed channel idents are terrible for causing it.The MSI 15.6-inch Stealth 15 features a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13620H 10-Core processor and 16GB of 5200 MHz DDR5 RAM. I swear some TV stations are in league with TV manufacturers

Those DOGs used as fixed channel idents are terrible for causing it. Just like people, screens need time to rest too! They key, no matter which display technology you're using, is not to leave static images on the screen 24/7.

The key advantage of OLED is the static contrast ratio is huge if you want the brightest whites combined with the blackest blacks all on screen at the same time, OLED is the one for you.įWIW our oldest OLED display (Galaxy Tab S, 2014) has no signs of burn in despite daily use, nor does my Huawei P20 Pro (2018). I've also seen LCD with backlight leprosy (blotchy uniformity due to differential fading of local intensity control backlighting). I've seen it on LCD, CRT and OLED although never on any device I've owned. I’d look into this.Īll display technologies are prone to burn-in to a certain extent although in my experience plasma was typically the worst. Apparently the tech is changing to compensate for image retention on OLED”s. I have a 15 year old plasma that looks as good as it did when it was new. It wound up with image retention where the banners were. Because of Covid we stayed mostly stayed inside every day and left the news on all day.

Not sure if this is the same thing but I had a OLED tv. But assuming this was not the case, is there any other reason you would not use an Oled Monitor or Oled Laptop for photo editing? I know there is some issue with gamma shift on some panels when adjusting the brightness.
